Complex Eye Movements in Parkinson’s Disease and Related Movement Disorders

SCOTTSDALE, AZ | June 21, 2021 – In collaboration with The Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute, Saccadous is pleased to announce a new research study investigating neurological diseases including Parkinson’s disease.

We are seeking volunteers to participate in a non-drug, research study gathering data to better understand the role of eye movement in objectively identifying certain neurological diseases, including Parkinson’s disease. Qualifying participants will invest 45min – 1 hr in one study visit located in downtown Phoenix, AZ. Like most standard eye exams, the device used is non-invasive.

If you, a friend, or a loved one suffers from a neurological disorder, this study offers the opportunity to help gather information that could ultimately lead to a more rapid and objective diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease.

For more information, please visit our study details on ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT04925622). If you would like to participate in the study, provide your contact information to Aracely Galarza at 602-406-4280 or Aracely.Galarza@DignityHealth.org and we will provide information about how you can get involved.
